Anyone may participate in Verse Scraps by writing a Bible verse on a scrap of paper and leaving it somewhere appropriate for another person to discover.

No purchase or website account is required to participate in the free initiative.

Participants are responsible for their own actions and must follow applicable laws, property rules, and reasonable safety practices.

Verse Scraps encourages participants to:

• Leave scraps only where permitted.
• Avoid creating litter or hazards.
• Respect private property and public spaces.
• Avoid interfering with businesses, individuals, or organizations.

Verse Scraps does not direct, supervise, or control individual scrap placements.

Certain website features, including digital purchases or download access, may involve account registration or authentication.

Users are responsible for providing accurate information, protecting their account credentials, and using the website lawfully.

Unauthorized access, fraudulent transactions, or misuse of website functionality is prohibited.

Verse Scraps may offer optional digital Art Keepsakes for purchase.

Each Keepsake is offered as a digital product with three downloadable image formats: Phone, Computer, and Print.

Purchases are processed through Stripe or another designated payment provider.

Purchased digital files are intended for personal use, including personal display, printing, and gifting of physical prints.

Unless expressly authorized, purchasers may not resell, redistribute, sublicense, or commercially reproduce the digital files.

Digital Keepsakes are delivered electronically through the website's designated download process.

Because digital files cannot be physically returned, purchases are generally nonrefundable once the purchased files have been successfully made available for download, except where required by law.

If a file is defective, incorrect, or cannot be accessed, please contact us so we can work to resolve the issue.

Nothing in these Terms limits rights or remedies provided by applicable law.

The Verse Scraps name, logos, website design, original artwork, and other original materials may be protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

Bible passages used in Art Keepsakes are sourced from the public-domain World English Bible Protestant Edition.

Purchasing a Keepsake does not transfer ownership of the underlying artwork or other protected materials.

Participants may voluntarily submit photos, videos, or stories, including content for Verse Scraps in Action (VSIA).

By submitting content for publication and granting permission to share it, contributors confirm that they have the necessary rights and permissions.

Contributors retain ownership of their original content while granting Verse Scraps permission to display and share approved submissions on its website and social media channels.

Verse Scraps may decline, edit for presentation, or remove submitted content at its discretion.

Churches, schools, community groups, and other organizations may voluntarily introduce Verse Scraps to their members.

Each participating organization remains responsible for its own activities, supervision, permissions, and compliance with applicable requirements.

Participation does not establish a formal partnership, sponsorship, or agency relationship with Verse Scraps.

Verse Scraps provides its free initiative, website, and related materials in good faith.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, Verse Scraps is not responsible for independent actions taken by participants, including where or how individuals place handwritten scraps.

Website services and digital content are provided without guarantees of uninterrupted availability.

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded.

We may update these Terms as our services develop. Continued use of the website after updated Terms become effective constitutes acceptance to the extent permitted by applicable law.
